About us
The Inter-American Masonic Confederation (CMI), founded on April 14, 1947, is a non-profit organization that brings together 94 Grand Lodges, admitted as members and distributed in 26 countries in South, Central and North America , Caribbean and Europe.
The CMI promotes an innovative institutional model through the integration of Ibero-American Freemasonry and, by extension, Universal Freemasonry, with the objective of developing all the existing potential in an organization that has almost half a million members that, through the exchange of ideas, activities, principles, concerns and experiences, that is, their way of seeing and understanding the world, seek to enrich the thinking of humanity and its cultures.
